History of the Jews in Russia and Poland- Simon Dubnow

Simon Dubnow was born in Mstislavl, Belarus in 1860. He is considered to be one of the most prominent Jewish historians of the 20th century. In 1922 Dubnow left Russia for Berlin where he stayed until Hitler came to power in 1933. He retuned to Riga, Latvia, until his death in 1941
